Refund & Returns Policy

At Total Spares, we are committed to supplying quality recycled, genuine and aftermarket automotive parts. If you have an issue with your purchase, we will work with you to find a fair solution.

Please read the following policy before making a purchase.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect purchases, or if you no longer require the item.
Please ensure the part is suitable for your vehicle before purchasing. If you are unsure, our team is happy to help confirm compatibility where possible.

Incorrect or Faulty Parts

If we have supplied the wrong part, or the part is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.
To help us assess the issue, we may request:
Your invoice or proof of purchase
Photos of the part
Your vehicle registration or VIN
A description of the fault
Where appropriate, we will inspect the part before approving a refund, replacement or repair.

RETURNS

Returns must be approved by Total Spares before being sent back.

Items must:
Be returned in the same condition they were supplied.
Not have been dismantled, modified or damaged after delivery.
Include any accessories supplied with the item.
Be accompanied by proof of purchase.
Returns sent without prior approval may be refused.

Electrical Components

Due to the nature of automotive electrical parts, all electrical components must be professionally fitted.
Refunds or replacements may not be available where parts have been incorrectly installed, modified, damaged, or where faults are caused by wiring, programming or vehicle-related issues.

Engines, Gearboxes & Major Mechanical Components

Engines, gearboxes and other major mechanical components should be inspected before installation.

Failure caused by overheating, lack of lubrication, incorrect installation, contaminated fluids or misuse is not covered.

Customers are responsible for replacing service items such as seals, gaskets, timing belts/chains, water pumps and fluids where recommended before installation.

The warranty covers the engine block and cylinder head and all internal components, the warranty does not cover water pump, diesel pump, timing components or any other components that happen to be affixed to the unit.

Labour Costs

Our warranty covers the supplied part only.
